Configuring a modem

Depending on your modem, there are several ways you can configure the device:

• The fastest way to configure a supported modem is to use the Modem Manager.

• If your modem is not listed in the Modem Manager, however, you will need to perform the configuration steps manually.

• Finally, this chapter provides some guidelines to help you configure a non-supported modem.
