Getting package information for a script
The two commands that can be used
from your scripts to solicit information about a package are:
 pkginfo(C)
-
This command returns information about software packages,
such as the instance identifier and package name.
 pkparam(C)
-
This command returns values for all parameters
or only for the parameters specified.
The
pkginfo(C)
and
pkgparam(C)
manual pages
give details for these tools.
