pkgmap

The pkgmk(C) command creates the pkgmap(F) file when it processes the prototype file. This new file contains all of the information in the prototype file plus three new fields for each entry. These fields are ``size'' (file size in bytes), ``cksum'' (checksum of file), and ``modtime'' (last time of modification). All command lines defined in the prototype file are executed as pkgmk(C) creates the pkgmap(F) file. The pkgmap file is placed on the installation medium. The prototype file is not. Refer to the pkgmap(F) manual page for more details about this file.
