Using the SSO Path Mapping API

To specify that the CDMT tools run the ssoPatch utility on a file when you recut the component:

1. Set the flags attribute to ssoPatch:

   • in the *.cmpnt file, set flags in the FILE_DEFAULT record.

   • in the *.pkg file, set flags in the FILE record.

2. C and C++ programs	link the API, /usr/lib/libsso.a, into the source file.
   Tcl scripts	include a patch area definition in the script.
   Shell scripts	run the ssoPathMap(CDMT) utility in the script.
