Customizing the SCO Gateway for NetWare printer interface script
The NetWare printer interface script is a customizable shell
script that processes users' print options and transfers
print jobs to the NetWare server.
It is not necessary to customize the NetWare printer interface script.
It is
automatically installed and configured when the system administrator
adds a new remote NetWare printer.
See
``Adding a SCO Gateway for NetWare printer''.
The system administrator may customize the NetWare
printer interface script to add or change printer options.
There are two files that can be customized:
/usr/spool/lp/netware/model/netware-
This file contains the generic NetWare interface script. Any changes
made to this file will be reflected in all new printers.
/usr/spool/lp/admins/lp/interfaces/printer-
The NetWare interface script is modified to include the
local printer interface script and copied to this file,
where printer is the UNIX system printer name. Any changes made to
one of these files will affect only that printer.
Make sure that you make copies of all files before editing
them.
