getlan --
display information about IPX/SPX and LLI interfaces
Syntax
getlan
Description
getlan displays miscellaneous information about
IPX/SPX and the LLI interfaces.
The following information is displayed:
Lan-
Internal LAN sequence number. This is always 0
for the internal network.
Network Address-
IPX network number.
Node Address-
IPX node number. The internal network always has
node number 1.
IPX State-
State of the IPX protocol driver. This can be
UNBOUND (no LLI driver has been linked
to IPX), LINKED (an LLI
driver is linked to IPX, but no network address
has been bound to IPX), or BOUND
(network address has been bound to IPX).
LLI State-
State of the LLI driver. This can be either
OK (no error) or ERROR (indicating
either an error condition in the LLI driver or
that no LLI driver is linked to IPX).
Maximum Packet Length-
Maximum size of MAC data packets in bytes.
Minimum Packet Length-
Minimum size of MAC data packets in bytes.
MAC Address Length-
MAC address size in bytes.
Subnetwork Type-
Medium used for transmission on the network segment.
Current Link Level State-
Detailed description of the state of the LLI driver.
