Example entry for remote access

Assume that the following information was entered with the PPP Manager:

PPP login name ppplogin
Local host name mymachine
Host IP address 10.0.118.99
Destination IP address 10.0.246.108
Protocol field compression No
Address-control field compression No
Van Jacobson TCP header compression No
Assume that all other values are defaults. The resulting /etc/ppphosts entry appears as:

   *ppplogin local=mymachine remote=10.0.246.108 idle=1\
   noprotcomp noaccomp novj
