Drawing shapes

To draw a circle, oval, rectangle, or square:

1. To fill the drawn shapes with a pattern or color, select Draw Filled from the Tools menu.

2. If you want a patterned shape, select the desired pattern from the pattern palette.

3. Click on the Oval tool or the Rectangle tool in the tool palette. Press the <Shift> key while using the Oval or Rectangle tool to draw circles or squares, respectively.

4. Move the pointer to where you want the shape to start, then drag diagonally. Determine the color of the shape by pressing the appropriate mouse button while you draw:

   • Mouse button 1 draws the shape in the foreground color.

   • Mouse button 2 draws the shape in the selected pattern using a combination of the foreground and background colors.

   • Mouse button 3 draws the shape in the background color.
